On the way to De Hoop Nature Reserve we passed these beautiful fields, lucky us the weather was simply gorgeous.
At De Hoop we were warmly greeted with bubbly and orange juice and told us about De Hoop and its history. We had a yummy brunch and then went to inspect the premises (see images below for some of luxuries rooms they have to offer).
We got a private game drive / tour, passing baboons and antelopes in a beautiful scenery before we hit the beach. Perfect beach weather makes for happy bloggers all around.
Our next stop was Sjinn, a pretty new wine farm on a stony plateau between the hamlet of Malagas and the fishing village of Cape Infanta, 230km east of Cape Town. We got a private wine tasting paired with mostly local produce i.e. bread and olives.
Next on our list was High Tea at Schoone Oordt, a charming country hotel in Swellendam with emphasis on unpretentious unaffected luxury, elegance, quality, love and acute attention to detail. As you can see by all the bloggers taking pictures instead of digging in, the food was divine once again.
The Old Gaol Restaurant was our last target for the day.
