Tuning the Vine the new urban wine tasting

Share:

Have you visited “Tuning the Vine” yet? If not hurry up, the weekend is almost over!

Living in the Mother City, we are spoilt with choices when it comes to wine… Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Swartland, Darling, you name it! The only problem? You will need a very very good friend who commits to being the DD (designated driver…)

Dilemma solved – Say hello to  #TuningTheVine2014 ! (31 Oct – 2 Nov, 2014)

This new, hip, urban wine and food experience is in the heart of Cape Town: the Lookout V&A Waterfront. Uber it, MyCiti bus it, you can even organize some mates and cycle through if you are up for a wine adventure! We were blown away at the launch party by the variety of activities you can do!

Try it: Wine tastings, cocktail bars, Craft beer stalls… you will definitely find something new

Pair it: With sommeliers on-site, just pick up your favorite padkos from Cape Town’s hottest food trucks and get the perfect pairing!

Learn about it:  Hear it from the source, we met rockstar winemakers like Henk van Niekerk, Melissa Nelsen and Clayton Reabow (Môreson). They are so passionate about their wines that you could spend hours at each booth!

Mix it: Wine is more fun with friends, and even better with some crazy experimentation! Take a stab at blending your next Veritas winner 😉 If you are an eager wine enthusiast, check out the Wine Tuning Crash Courses too.

Have Fun With it: Props, moustaches, and photo booths. Need we say more? For those who are having Daisies withdraw, get yourself front row seats and groove to Toby2shoes,  Mr Cat & the Jackal, Nomadic Orchestra and more hot acts!
